National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. Situated at the birthplace of modern Singapore, in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery is housed in two national monuments - City Hall and former Supreme Court - that have been beautifully restored and transformed into this exciting 64,000 square metres venue.

The Gallery showcases more than 8,000 pieces from Singapore’s National Collection, making it one of the world’s largest and most invaluable public collections of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art from the 19th century to the present day.
The Gallery also works with international museums,  to jointly present Southeast Asian art in the global context, positioning Singapore as a key node in the global visual arts scene.
Visitors can expect a variety of enlightening programmes including guided tours, artist talks, conversations with curators and lecture series to gain deeper insights into the exhibitions.

国家美术馆展出 8,000 余件国家藏品，藏品之丰富完整，堪称 19 世纪至今全球规模最大，也最具历史价值的新加坡及东南亚现代美术珍藏。同时展出的还有来自东南亚和世界其他地区的顶级艺术家的精美代表作品。

除了欣赏画作，访客也可在这里参加各种启发性的体验项目，包括导览活动、艺术家座谈会、策展人探讨会和各种讲座，以更深入认识展览。

Key Notes:

1. The voucher is your proof of purchase and good for one-time redemption for a single admission ticket of the attraction.
2. The redemption voucher must be utilised within the date indicated.
3. There will be no refund for unused attraction ticket either in part of full.
4. Tickets are not to be used for touting purpose.
5. Loss of ticket will be solely under the full responsibility of the passenger.

 Gallery Etiquette

1. Please do not touch the artworks.
2. Bags may be subjected to inspection for security reasons.
3. Food and drink (including bottled water) are not permitted in the galleries.
4. No dress code, but it is advisable for visitors to bring some clothing for keeping warm in the Gallery.
5. Small strollers are permitted in the galleries except in the Keppel Centre. Big strollers should be parked at the designated stroller parking area at Level 1.
6. No flash photography or videography is permitted in the galleries. Use of selfie sticks and tripods is also not permitted in the galleries. Photography is sometimes not permitted in the special exhibition galleries.
7. Visitors should speak in soft tones, not talking on mobile, no using of laser pointers in the galleries.
8. Avoid running, no wearing of roller shoes, do not obstruct the passage of other visitor in the galleries.
9. Gallery staff have the right to work in a safe environment free from violence, abuse or threatening behaviour. The Gallery reserves the right to remove any person acting in an unacceptable manner.

 馆内参观礼仪须知：

1. 请勿触摸展品。
2. 保安原因，提包等物品需要接受安全检查。
3. 请勿将饮料 (包括瓶装水) 和食品带入展厅内。
4. 没有特定着装限制，但建议带备可以于美术馆内保暖的衣物。
5. 小型婴儿车可以进入展厅 (Keppel Centre 除外)。大型婴儿车则须存放于一层的婴儿车存放处。
6. 展厅内禁止使用闪光/灯光摄影/录像、禁止使用自拍杆或三脚架。
   特別展厅在有些时候是禁止摄影。
7. 以免影响他人，在展厅内需轻声交谈、不可大声喧哗、不可接打手机、不可使用激光笔。
8. 在展厅请勿内奔走、不可穿着滑轮鞋和儿童滑行鞋，请勿阻碍通道和妨碍展厅内的其他参观者。
9. 美术馆人员有责任保持馆内环境安全，对不能遵守美术馆的各相关守则和条款的参观者，馆方保留拒绝接待或请离场的权利。
