Terms & conditions

The JR Pass is available only for non-Japanese tourists visiting Japan under a short-term stay.
Eligible visa types include tourist visa, official visa, and three-year multiple-entry visa.
Long-term visa holders (such as those with study, work, or residency visas) are not eligible to purchase or use this pass.
Each adult pass holder may bring up to two children aged 1–5 years old free of charge.
The same passenger cannot purchase or redeem multiple identical passes for overlapping validity periods.
The physical redemption voucher must be exchanged for the actual JR Pass at a designated JR exchange station in Japan.
The redemption voucher is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
Please present your passport (with short-term visa) and e-voucher or confirmation document when exchanging for the physical pass.
