What to expect

Bear watching and photography overnight tours in a hide in the untouched taiga wilderness by Karhu-Kuusamo Oy. You'll also have a chance to see eagles & other wild creatures in their natural habitat.

Activity information

Opportunity to observe and photograph brown bears, eagles, and other birds in a perfect setting for reflection photography at a swamp pond.

Entry to one of our six comfortable wooden wildlife hides with large viewing windows.
Borrowing of binoculars, bean bags, and/or video/ball heads.
However, if you don’t see any, you can come again for free until you see them!
Support and guidance from experienced, professional guides during the evening until 10 p.m.
Pick up in the morning by our guide at 8 a.m., who will walk you back to the parking lot (if you wish).
Not included: Drinks and/or snacks. Please, bring your own.
Not included: Unfortunately, we cannot provide transportation to/from the hides, but we can assist you in finding a taxi service or rental car if needed.

How to use

Show your mobile or printed voucher at the venue unless your confirmation email says otherwise. Ticket redemption steps are finalized when you choose a package in the partner portal.

Terms & conditions

The walk from the meeting point at the parking lot to the hides is short (approx. 300–500m), but weather-appropriate clothing is recommended, including good walking shoes. Bring your own drinks and snacks, and especially bring enough drinking water. Our main log hide is also wheelchair accessible. The overnight tour begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 8 a.m. the following morning.
