• There is mandatory airport-like security screening before boarding the ferry

• The ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty can be windy and cold, so bring a jacket

• All prohibited items are confiscated and retained by the park police

• Backpacks and large bags are not permitted inside the 9/11 Memorial or Statue of Liberty

• Important notice for last-minute bookings (on the same day or from one day to the next): in case of a lack of places the customer will be placed on the day following the booked date

• "Skip the Line" means that instead of waiting in the normal long queue, the customer enters a fast, priority queue, together with the other customers who have chosen this option
