What to expect

Come and discover the traditional and contemporary techniques of tile painting in a relaxed and creative atmosphere at an Art Gallery in Lisbon.

Not included: This workshop focuses exclusively on tile painting and does not involve molding or sculpture.)*

How to use

Terms & conditions

In this workshop, you'll learn the traditional technique of tile painting, as it's been practiced for centuries in Portugal. This authentic technique involves firing the pieces in a high-temperature oven, which requires a process of at least 24 hours until the tiles are ready.
We always prioritize teaching the traditional technique, for its artistic richness and cultural value. However, we understand that some participants have limited availability. That's why we also offer a faster painting technique, which allows you to take the tile home the same day (without firing).
For those who choose the traditional technique, the delivery of the pieces is arranged directly with the participant. If you need to send it by mail, you'll be responsible for the shipping costs.
