What to expect

The wonders of Kuala Lumpur await you on this tour to the amazing sights of Malaysia's largest city. Visit landmarks that range from the Petronas Twin Towers and the Central Market to the Batu Caves to came across at the unique blend of history and culture that lies behind the scenery. Once you meet your guide, set out for your visit to one of Malaysia's most iconic buildings, the grand double skyscraper of the Petronas Twin Towers. Here, the observation deck gives you a spectacular view of the city laid out below you. Next, visit the grounds of Merdeka Square for a look at the 311-foot (95-m) flagpole that commemorates the first raising of the Malaysian flag and the end of colonial rule. You then get a look at the royal palace and the National Museum on your way to the Lake Gardens, where you can enjoy the peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A stop at the Central Market lets you browse the shops offering fresh food, crafts, and souvenirs, including masterful works of traditional batik art, and then you make a stop near the Old Railway Station to check out the intricate Moorish styling in the building's design. After you've had a look at the grand modern design of the National Mosque, your guide shows you to the Batu Caves, a network of Hindu shrines and holy sites within a limestone hill. Appreciate the towering golden statue of Lord Muruga that stands by the entrance and the intricate carvings within the caves before you start the return trip to your hotel.
