In an animal experience like no other, lucky participants get to meet a variety of seals including the Long nosed fur seals, Australian Sea Lions and Californian Sea Lions for a personal animal presentation. Inclusions * Seal encounter (guests do not enter the water) Exclusions * Entry to Sea World is NOT included with any Animal Adventures Program and MUST be purchased separately. Participants arriving without an entry ticket for general admission will not be able to participate in the Animal Adventure Program booked. Admission can be purchased on the day, however it is recommended that you pre-purchase your entry to avoid waiting in line and missing your Animal Adventure Highlights * Enjoy an amazing hands-on experience where you'll interact with some of the seals at Sea World * You'll see a number of difference seal behaviours and even get to feed a seal a fish and of course lots and lots of pats * Discover the playful and loveable nature of these beautiful animals Time * Seal Encounters are available 7 days a week and have approximately 10 participants per program * You must check-in at Animal Adventures inside Sea World at least 1 hour prior to the program Duration * Program duration is approximately 20 minutes Location * Sea World is located on Sea World Drive in Main Beach, Gold Coast What To Bring * Don't forget to bring your camera so that you can capture your amazing experience Additional Information * Participants must be 5 years of age or over and be a minimum height of 110cm. (measured without footwear) * Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. There are no complimentary programs for translators. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria * Participants must wear footwear * Participants must have controlled motor movement * Participants must follow directions quickly to the satisfaction of staff * Participants must be able to quickly exit the area unassisted * Please inform staff of any medical conditions during check-in * Participants must not have any form of disability which prevents them from satisfying the criteria for participation * Animal Adventures booking is non-refundable and non-transferable * Guests with disabilities are asked to call us directly to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. Please note a limited number of special needs programs are available for people with disabilities that otherwise prohibit them from participating Terms And Conditions * Participants in Sea World Animal Adventures are only available to Sea World guests, and only on the day of their visit. PLEASE NOTE: General admission to Sea World is an additional cost and is not included in the price of participating in Animal Adventures programs. * Participants acknowledge that they will be entering an environment housing animals. Whilst Sea World takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff, participants should be aware that close encounters with animals will always involve a degree of unpredictability, where quick reaction and strict attention to directions from staff are essential * Participants release Sea World to the full extent permitted by law from any claim for personal injury, loss or damage arising from their participation in Animal Adventure programs. Participants agree to comply with all lawful directions that Sea World makes in respect of their participation * Certain criteria must be met in order to participate in each of the Animal Adventures programs. They are strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our guest, staff and animals. All participation is subject to final assessment by the Marine Sciences staff member at the time of attendance. If at any time prior to the program or during the program a participant is assessed by the staff as not being able to fulfil the criteria, they will be directed to leave the program. No refund will be given * Availability, start times, duration times, number of participants, selection criteria and all other conditions and/or relevant information are subject to change without notice Cancellation Policy * Sea World may at its sole discretion cancel any Animal Adventures program if the Marine Sciences staff member is of the opinion that extreme weather or other conditions make it impossible for the program to be held. In the event of such cancellation participants will either be rebooked into another Animal Adventures program (subject to program availability) or a full refund of program costs paid will be given to guests.
