Matsushima Bay Cruise Masamune Route (Round-trip Matsushima Bay Cruise)
The Matsushima Bay cruise route (approx. 50 min round trip). In addition to the iconic Niou Island and Twin Islands, we'll also introduce you to islands only visible from the Marubun Matsushima sightseeing boat. Enjoy the scenic views while listening to the onboard audio commentary.
Please arrive at the designated location and complete boarding procedures at least 15 minutes before departure time.
·The cruise may be canceled depending on weather conditions. The sailing route may also change - we appreciate your understanding.
·When taking a medium-sized boat with a capacity of 90 passengers, the one-way trip takes approx. 40 min.
Basho Route (One-Way Matsushima Bay Cruise from Matsushima to Shiogama)
This one-way cruise is a single route from Matsushima to Shiogama (approx. 50 min). Sailing through shallow waters just 2m deep, you can get up close to more islands. It's said that the famous Japanese poet Matsuo Basho was particularly fond of the scenery here. This activity is a unique sightseeing route offered exclusively by Marubun Matsushima Kisen!
