Perfect Timing

When to visit for the best experience

Visit on weekday mornings between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM when crowds are smallest and animals are most active for feeding. The cooler months from November to February offer the most comfortable weather for outdoor exploration. Avoid weekend afternoons and public holidays when the park fills with local families, though the lively atmosphere can be enjoyable if you don't mind crowds.

Photography Guide

Capture the perfect shots

  • Capture stunning shots in the free-flight aviary during mid-morning when natural light filters through the netting and birds are most active

  • The koi fish feeding bell moment creates incredible action shots, so have your camera ready before ringing

  • Use burst mode for animal interactions as the creatures move quickly, and remember that flash photography is prohibited in certain animal zones

Cultural Etiquette

Respect local customs and traditions

The park celebrates Malaysian kampung culture, so take time to appreciate the traditional architecture and farming displays that honor the country's agricultural heritage. Remove shoes before entering any traditional Malay house replicas if requested, and dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered out of respect for the cultural setting. Tipping is not expected, but friendly interactions with staff and proper disposal of trash shows respect for the conservation mission.

Special Events & Experiences

Enhanced experiences and seasonal highlights

  • School holiday periods feature special animal care workshops and junior zookeeper programs where children learn feeding techniques and animal husbandry

  • Chinese New Year and Hari Raya celebrations include cultural performances and special themed decorations throughout the kampung setting

  • Weekend educational talks scheduled at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM cover topics like reptile conservation and Malaysian bird species

Important Guidelines & Safety

Essential safety information and guidelines

  • Always wash or sanitize hands after touching animals and before eating, especially important with young children

  • Follow staff instructions during animal interactions and never chase, corner, or feed animals outside designated feeding times

  • Stay on marked pathways in free-flight aviaries and be mindful of where you step as birds may land near your feet

Overview

An Eden of Nature and Animals Farm In The City (FITC) is a unique new concept that combines elements of wildlife and nature set in a designed environment of a conservation park. Drawing upon the values of Malaysia’s multi-racial and multi-cultural population, FITC is designed to resemble a typical Malaysia village or “kampung” setting. FITC plans to become a focal point for tourism in the state by providing educational and entertaining insight into the lifestyle and setting of a Malaysian village, farm and fruit orchard with its natural plants and wildlife. FITC is much more than a viewing exhibit. It encourages visitor-interactions with the animals and plant-life in a comfortable yet authentic environment. FITC also places great importance on education of visitors on the various aspects of farm and animal life as well as wildlife conservation and preservation.
