Perfect Timing
When to visit for the best experience
The best time to visit is on weekday mornings right after opening, when the playground is least crowded and the little ones can freely explore the ninja course and trampolines. Since it is an indoor, air-conditioned facility, it is a perfect year-round destination that offers a cool escape from Singapore's tropical heat and sudden afternoon rain showers.
Photography Guide
Capture the perfect shots
-
Capture the beautiful Peranakan tile motifs and heritage-inspired murals near the entrance before the kids rush off to play.
-
The brightly lit indoor environment is great for smartphone photography, but avoid using flash near the interactive trampoline to prevent startling the children.
-
Snap action shots from the parent viewing areas which offer excellent vantage points of the climbing tower and smart spiral slides.
Cultural Etiquette
Respect local customs and traditions
While the playground is a high-energy environment, visitors are encouraged to respect the Peranakan cultural motifs by not climbing on the decorative heritage displays or signage. Singaporeans value cleanliness and order, so please ensure you dispose of any trash in the provided bins and keep the cafe areas tidy for the next family.
Special Events & Experiences
Enhanced experiences and seasonal highlights
-
Look out for special Peranakan craft workshops and cultural storytelling sessions often held during the June and December school holiday peaks.
-
The playground frequently hosts themed birthday party packages with exclusive access to private rooms and customized Peranakan-inspired decorations.
-
During Chinese New Year and Hari Raya, the venue is beautifully decorated with festive lights and offers special holiday play passes.
Important Guidelines & Safety
Essential safety information and guidelines
-
Ensure children wear proper grip socks at all times to prevent slipping on the trampolines and smooth slide surfaces.
-
Parents should actively supervise toddlers in the ball pit and lower play zones to prevent them from being accidentally bumped by older, more active children.
-
Check the height and age restrictions posted at the entrance of the ninja course and climbing tower to ensure your child is participating in age-appropriate activities.
Visitor Information
Entry Fee
The off-peak pass provides excellent value by including entry for one child and one accompanying adult, with additional adults available at a nominal fee. Upgrading to a peak pass or purchasing multi-visit packages is highly recommended for families planning to return during weekends or public holidays.
Visit Duration
Plan to spend about two to three hours here to allow your child ample time to conquer the ninja course, enjoy the slides, and take breaks. If you are short on time, prioritize the climbing slide tower and the interactive trampoline, as these are the biggest crowd-pleasers.
Accessibility
The facility is located on the ground level of HomeTeamNS Khatib with step-free access to the reception, cafe, and restrooms. While the main play structures require physical agility, the ground-level ball pit and sensory areas are accessible for children with varying mobility needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
About T-Play Khatib
As early as the 15th Century, Chinese men left China to find work in Southeast Asia. They decided to marry local women and settle down. That is one of the stories of how the Peranakan Culture began. It has quite a fusion of the Chinese and Malay heritage, with some Western influence because the Babas travelled a lot.
Many Peranakans played important roles in the building of Singapore, including Mr Lim Nee Soon, whom Yishun is named after. Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the 1st Prime Minister of Singapore was also a Peranakan. So is the composer of our favourite NDP song, Home, Dick Lee.
T-Play Khatib is inspired by the pioneering spirit of early Peranakans, and the vibrant colours & images this unique culture presents. Our Playground has lots in-stored for our little friends. Our Peranakan-themed playground will be fun & educational for all our little friends & their families.
Parents should actively supervise toddlers in the ball pit and lower play zones to prevent them from being accidentally bumped by older, more active children.
