What to expect

The park houses a legendary ancient tomb. Using the abandoned Tang family tomb, a Taiwanese version of Wu Zetian's crypt has been constructed. The stone coffin in the underground palace is painted with fine gold lacquer. Behind the coffin, a natural spring, named the Golden Coffin Old Spring, is said to enhance wealth and fortune. Wu Zetian's remains were replaced with a medical skeleton model, and the coffin contains jade and bronze burial objects. The tomb murals, created by world-renowned artist Kuang Yi, depict Wu Zetian's death, accompanied by three-, four-, and six-eyed deities in the underground palace, presenting reports of her authority. Other murals depict Tang Dynasty ladies dancing, playing the flute, and offering fruit. To further enhance the grandeur of the imperial palace, authentic Ming Dynasty war horses were used, resembling the massive Terracotta Army guarding the ancient city of Yaodong.
