Perfect Timing

When to visit for the best experience

Visit during lunch hours (11am-2pm) for a quieter atmosphere ideal for appreciating the gallery, or during early evening (5pm-7pm) to experience the refined ambience before the dinner rush. The cooler, drier months from November to February offer the most comfortable dining experience in Bangkok, though the restaurant's excellent air conditioning ensures comfort year-round.

Photography Guide

Capture the perfect shots

  • Capture the artworks and traditional crafts during daylight hours or early evening when natural and ambient lighting best showcases the gallery's details

  • Frame your dining moments with the artwork in the background for authentic Bangkok cultural dining shots

  • Ask permission before photographing individual artworks, as they represent local artists' intellectual property

Cultural Etiquette

Respect local customs and traditions

Show respect to Thai culture by dressing modestly and avoiding loud behaviour, honouring both the culinary traditions being served and the artists whose work is displayed. Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory in Thailand; 5-10% is customary for good service. Remove shoes if entering private gallery spaces, as is traditional Thai custom in intimate cultural settings.

  • Rotating gallery exhibitions change seasonally, often aligned with Bangkok's art community events and international artist residencies

Important Guidelines & Safety

Essential safety information and guidelines

  • Bangkok traffic can be heavy on Sathorn Road; use the nearby MRT and BTS stations for safe, convenient arrival rather than taxis when possible

  • Keep personal belongings secure in the dining area, particularly mobile devices and cameras, as with any Bangkok establishment
