How to activate & deactivate a Eurail Pass (1) Download the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner app and activate your pass within 11 months from the date of purchase. The selected start date when activating the pass in the Rail Planner app will serve as the activation date, and the pass's validity period will begin from that date.
