China Visa for Helper (S2 Visa) — Application from Singapore
Bringing your foreign domestic helper to China? The S2 visa is what your helper needs. HolidaySG handles the full application — online submission, document review, Visa Centre coordination and collection — so you and your helper can focus on your trip.
What is the China S2 visa for helpers?
The S2 visa is a short-term family-visit visa issued by the People's Republic of China. It is the correct visa category for foreign domestic helpers (FDWs) employed in Singapore who need to travel to China with their employer. The S2 visa allows stays of up to 180 days.
Employers in Singapore can apply for their helper's China visa through the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC) at 80 Robinson Road, Singapore. The process involves an online submission first, followed by an in-person visit to the Visa Centre after the online review is completed.
Filipino, Indonesian, Myanmar and other foreign domestic helpers holding a valid Singapore Work Permit can apply. The visa fee depends on the applicant's nationality — Singapore passport holders, US citizens, Canadian citizens and third-country nationals each have different fee schedules.
