Can I get a visa on arrival at Jordan’s airports as a US citizen?

Apologies if this is a repeat question — We're heading to Jordan in a couple of months and trying to figure out can I get a visa on arrival at Jordan’s airports as a US citizen. Even a brief answer would help a lot.

Most tourists, including US, EU, and UK passport holders, can obtain a visa on arrival at Jordan’s airports for a fee of 40 JOD (about $56). The visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended for a small fee if needed. Bring a passport photo and enough cash to pay the fee.
