Can you visit both North and South Korea at the same time? What's the DMZ tour actually like?

You can't visit North Korea independently, but the DMZ tour from Seoul lets you see the border. The Joint Security Area tour (where North and South guards face off) requires booking through approved agencies. It's sobering and surprisingly well-organized.
