Is Georgia (the country) safe for solo female travelers?

I've read a few blog posts but they all seem outdated.

Georgia is surprisingly safe — locals are incredibly hospitable and English is spoken widely in Tbilisi. Walking alone at night feels comfortable even in older districts. A few basic precautions apply everywhere, but most solo female travelers report zero issues.
