Is it safe to take overnight buses in Colombia or should I stick to daytime routes?

Stick to daytime routes or fly long segments. Accidents and robberies on overnight buses are increasingly rare, but they do happen. Reputable companies like Expreso Bolivariano are a better choice if you must travel at night.
