Is Lisbon walkable or do I need public transport?
I've been looking into this for a while and can't find a definitive answer.

Lisbon is very walkable in the historic districts, but the steep hills and cobblestone streets can be tiring. The metro is clean and covers major areas, while trams 28 and 12 are iconic but often overcrowded. A Viva Viagem card makes hopping between buses, trams, and metro seamless and affordable.
