When is the best time of year to visit Vietnam?

The sweet spot for Vietnam is the country is long — roughly March–April and October–November work well overall. In short: varies north to south; north has a cooler winter. Aim for the shoulder months if you want the best balance of weather, prices and smaller crowds.
