Normal visiting hours will resume from 17 February 2026. Standard tickets are for non-Malaysian visitors only. This ticket is valid for single entry only. It must be redeemed on or before the expiration date specified on the ticket. After the stated date, the ticket will be considered NULL and VOID and cannot be used for redemption. Re-entry is not allowed once you have exited the park/building. We encourage visitors to plan your visit accordingly and ensure that you have enjoyed all exhibits, activities, and experiences before leaving for the day. Adult is defined as 13 to 59 years old; Child is defined as 4 to 12 years old and Senior citizen is defined as 60 years old and above. Admission is free of charge for children age of 3 and below and does not require a ticket. What to expect
Imagine nature’s largest classroom and discovery hub, where butterflies and insects are free to come out and play. Within Entopia lies two worlds; The Natureland living outdoor gardens and The Cocoon indoor discovery centre. Over 150 species of fauna and more than 200 species of flora are being showcased throughout Entopia’s entire exhibition.
Entopia is a nature discovery and exploration center located in Teluk Bahang, Penang, Malaysia. The center is dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the natural world, particularly the insects and other invertebrates that play important roles in maintaining ecological balance.
Entopia is housed in a large greenhouse-like structure that spans more than 100,000 square feet. Within the center, visitors can explore a variety of exhibits and displays, including live insect displays, interactive educational exhibits, and immersive habitats that simulate different ecosystems and natural environments.
One of the center's main attractions is its butterfly sanctuary, which is home to over 15,000 free-flying butterflies from more than 200 species. Visitors can stroll through the sanctuary and observe the butterflies as they flit among the flowers and foliage, or even participate in guided tours and hands-on activities.
In addition to its butterfly sanctuary, Entopia also features a variety of other exhibits and attractions, including a bug exploration zone, a learning lab, a Thai water garden, and more. The center is open year-round and is a popular destination for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone interested in learning more about the amazing diversity and beauty of the natural world.
