Traveler Group Description
Free admission for junior high school students (aged 15 and under) and seniors aged 65+. Please present age verification documents (passport, etc.) upon entry.
Individuals with a physical or mental disability handbook (physical, rehabilitative, or mental) are eligible for free admission (one caregiver accompanying the handbook holder can also enter for free).
High school students (aged 16 or above) can enjoy free admission if they meet any of the following conditions.
Admission days: Saturdays, Children's Day (May 5), Culture Day (November 3), and groups of 10 or more
For groups of 10 or more paying visitors, please purchase group tickets on-site.
Transportation method
Public transportation: Get off at JR "Shin-Sapporo Station" or the Tozai Subway Line "Shin-Sapporo Station," then transfer to the JR Hokkaido bus bound for "Kaitaku-no-Mura" at bus stop No. 10. Get off at the final stop. (Approx. 15 min)
By car: approx. 40 min from central Sapporo (via Route 12 toward Asahikawa), approx. 60 min from New Chitose Airport (via Dōō Expressway "Sapporo Minami IC" and Route 12 toward Asahikawa) Present your e-ticket for direct verification and access.
