· Karatsu Castle is a flatland castle built in the early Edo period on a small hill about 46 meters high, so there are many slopes and stairs. Although there are handrails on the way to the castle tower and turrets, the stairs are very steep and have high steps. For this reason, wheelchair users cannot visit Karatsu Castle alone. You can enjoy the power of Karatsu Castle from Maizuru Park outside the castle tower.
