What to expect

Karoo ice and snow world is the "Guangdong Province Ice and Snow Sports Training Base", located in the Mission Hills Ecological Sports Commune in Longhua District, Shenzhen. It is a large-scale air-membrane indoor ice and snow project organized by the Guangdong Ice and Snow Sports Association, invested and constructed by Shenzhen Keleng Commercial Equipment Co., Ltd., and operated and managed by Shenzhen Guanlan Kalu Operation Co., Ltd. Karoo ice and snow world covers an area of about 12,000 square meters, consisting of a ski hall (about 5,400 square meters), an ice skating hall of about 4,000 square meters, and a comprehensive service hall (about 2,800 square meters). All three venues are built with new air-membrane structure technology, and the air membrane can provide an ultra-high space without beams and columns.

The ski hall is divided into a ski area and a snow entertainment area. There is a parent-child warm-house restaurant and a DIY craft room in the middle of the first floor. The venue occasionally organizes DIY and other activities. Please refer to the on-site announcement for details. Ski Ticket can be used to experience skiing, which is divided into 2-hour skiing and 3-hour skiing. For specific benefits, please refer to the product description. Beginners are recommended to purchase the 2-hour skiing with teaching products; the snow entertainment ticket can experience snow slides, snow slides, non-powered motorcycles, snow rickshaws and other projects

October–November operating hours: Weekdays Monday–Thursday: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM; Weekdays Friday: 11:00 AM–10:00 PM; Weekends: 10:00 AM–10:00 PM.
Weekdays (Monday–Thursday): Last entry at 17:00 for 3-hour tickets, last entry at 16:00 for 4-hour tickets.
[Weekdays, Fridays & Weekends] 3-hour tickets: last entry at 7:00 PM; 4-hour tickets: last entry at 6:00 PM. Please plan your visit accordingly. In cases of operational capacity control, special event arrangements, or visitor safety management, the opening hours of any ski resort operations or facilities may be adjusted. Please refer to the on-site announcements on your visit day for actual schedules.
Eligibility
Karu Ice and Snow Venue is a high-risk sports facility. Ice and snow sports carry certain dangers. Children under 1.5m in height, seniors aged 60 and above, and people with disabilities are advised to be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult with safety supervision capabilities. No free admission for children; regular tickets must be purchased.
Entry requirements
1. The admission ticket is valid only for the day of visit, allowing one-time entry and exit per person with one snow pass. It will expire after the valid date.
2. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, Karoo Ice and Snow World implements time slot-based capacity control. Please enter within your purchased time slot. Evening session visitors should note the latest operating hours and plan accordingly to avoid insufficient playtime. No extensions or refunds will be provided for unused admission time due to personal reasons. We appreciate your understanding.
3. The timing rule at Karoo Ice and Snow World starts when you scan your card to enter and ends when you exit. Any time exceeding your ticket duration is considered overtime. Please pay the overtime fee according to the on-site posted prices. [Overtime fee reference: ¥40 per 30 mins per person. Fees are charged in 30-min increments, with partial increments rounded up.]
Example: A CNY 40 overtime fee will be charged for 29 minutes of overtime, and a CNY 80 overtime fee will be charged for 31 minutes of overtime.
Entry method
After placing your booking, present the QR code from your booking at the ticket booth or service counter of Karoo Ice and Snow World to exchange for an Ice and Snow Card. The Ice and Snow Card is used for entering and exiting the venue turnstiles and for equipment collection. Please keep it safe. If you lose the Ice and Snow Card or are unable to enter the venue due to personal reasons, you will need to purchase a new ticket.
Tour process
1. Enter the Ecological Sports Community with your snow pass
2. Arrive at Karoo Ice and Snow World
3. Swipe your snow pass at the gate (timing starts)
4. Swipe your snow pass on the left to collect snow gear, snow boots, and a locker (wristband)
5. Change into your gear
6. Enter the ski hall in an orderly manner
7. Change out of your gear
8. Swipe your card to return the snow gear, snow boots, and locker (wristband)
9. Scan the code to exit the gate (timing ends)
