Available Facilities
Perfect Timing
When to visit for the best experience
Spring and autumn offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the Kansai region, with stunning cherry blossoms and vibrant fall foliage enhancing your outdoor attractions. To avoid the heaviest crowds at popular Osaka landmarks, plan your major attraction visits for weekday mornings right after opening hours.
Photography Guide
Capture the perfect shots
-
Capture the illuminated neon signs of Dotonbori at night, but be mindful of crowds and avoid using flash when photographing locals or street performers.
-
When visiting historical sites like Osaka Castle or participating shrines, look for the golden hour lighting just before sunset to highlight the traditional architecture without harsh shadows.
-
Always check the specific photography rules at your chosen cultural facilities, as some indoor exhibits and museums strictly prohibit flash or tripods.
Cultural Etiquette
Respect local customs and traditions
When dining at participating restaurants using your pass, remember that tipping is not practiced in Japan and can even be considered rude; a polite thank you for the meal is the best way to show appreciation. Additionally, maintain a quiet demeanour on public transport options included in your pass, as speaking loudly or taking phone calls on trains and buses is frowned upon in Kansai.
Special Events & Experiences
Enhanced experiences and seasonal highlights
-
Time your visit for the Tenjin Matsuri in late July to experience one of Osaka's most spectacular boat processions and fireworks displays along the Okawa River.
-
Visit during the autumn months to catch the stunning Midosuji Illumination or the vibrant fall foliage light-ups at local parks and castle grounds.
-
Spring travellers can align their pass usage with the Osaka Castle Cherry Blossom Festival, enjoying spectacular night-time illuminations of the sakura trees.
Important Guidelines & Safety
Essential safety information and guidelines
-
Keep a digital or physical copy of your e-code and booking confirmation saved offline in case you lose mobile network connectivity while navigating between Kansai attractions.
-
Stay hydrated and carry a small first-aid kit with blister plasters, as exploring multiple facilities and using transit options often involves extensive walking.
-
Be aware of your surroundings and secure your belongings in crowded tourist areas like Umeda and Namba, especially when scanning your pass at busy ticketing gates.
Visitor Information
Entry Fee
This pass offers a bundled digital rate that saves you up to JPY 5,900 compared to purchasing individual tickets for your three chosen options, providing exceptional value for budget-conscious travellers. Child and senior discounts are generally not applicable to this specific digital bundle, as the flat-rate pass is already heavily subsidized for maximum savings.
Visit Duration
Since this is a 1-week pass allowing you to choose three distinct options, you should allocate at least half a day to a full day for each selected attraction, transit route, or dining experience. If you are short on time, prioritize one major landmark, one convenient transit option, and one relaxing dining venue to maximize your itinerary without feeling rushed.
Accessibility
Accessibility varies by the specific facilities you choose from the pass network, but most major attractions and transit hubs in Osaka are well-equipped with elevators, tactile paving, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms. It is highly recommended to check the individual accessibility details of your three selected options on their official websites prior to your visit.

Opened on February 26, 2019, Sotei Onsen in Osaka is a large hot spring theme park in Kansai. The hall is decorated with the theme of the Azuchi-Momoyama period when Hideyoshi Toyosu unified the world from 1573 to 1603. Here, you can rent ninja costumes, princess costumes, or cute yukatas from the Azuchi-Momoyama period to walk and shop in the building. Every corner is full of strong Japanese flavor. It is a new popular spot for punching in and taking pictures. In addition, there are many interesting and wonderful activities and performances to watch. In addition to the common male and female pools in Japan, there are also Imi-furo, open-air hot springs, and carbonic acid hot springs with a view of the garden. The characteristic hot springs and saunas that change every day, and the weak alkaline natural hot spring "Beautiful Skin No Yu" gushing out from 1,000 meters underground. In addition, there are rock baths, saunas, etc. There are 7 options for rock baths alone. There are also 15,000 manga magazines with a wide variety of books in the museum, and the sofa lounge with a personal TV can be used free of charge. In addition, there are many kinds of massages such as Thai and Japanese that you can enjoy at your own expense. Importantly, there are also izakayas, restaurants, and famous sake and Japanese souvenir shops from all over Japan.

Hot Springs
Solaniwa Onsen’s pride and joy are the baths that overlook our expansive Japanese garden, where you can enjoy any of nine bath types including outdoor baths, comprising pure hot spring water brought up from 1,000 meters below the earth’s surface. The spring water is hypotonic and weakly alkaline, and it has a high level of heat.
