Available Facilities
Perfect Timing
When to visit for the best experience
Late afternoon is the ideal time to visit, allowing you to experience the VR jump in daylight and then watch the spectacular sunset over Osaka from the observation deck. Weekday mornings offer the shortest queues and a more relaxed atmosphere, while weekends and public holidays tend to be much busier. Clear, crisp days in autumn or spring provide the best real-world visibility of the surrounding city and distant mountains before you put on the headset.
Photography Guide
Capture the perfect shots
-
Photography is generally restricted while actively participating in the VR bungee experience for safety reasons, so rely on the provided biometric report for your action souvenir.
-
Capture stunning wide-angle shots of the Osaka skyline from the 59th-floor indoor observation areas before or after your harness session.
-
For the best lighting, shoot during the golden hour just before sunset when the city below is bathed in warm, dramatic light.
Cultural Etiquette
Respect local customs and traditions
Japanese attraction staff highly value punctuality and order, so please arrive exactly at your designated time slot and follow all safety instructions promptly. It is customary to be polite and quiet while staff are conducting safety briefings or assisting other guests with their harnesses. Tipping is not practiced in Japan, so a simple bow and a polite "arigatou gozaimasu" (thank you very much) is the best way to show appreciation to the crew.
Special Events & Experiences
Enhanced experiences and seasonal highlights
-
Abeno Harukas 300 frequently hosts seasonal illumination events and night-time light shows that transform the observation deck into a magical winter wonderland.
-
During the summer Obon festival and New Year holidays, the skyscraper often features special traditional Japanese decorations and limited-edition cafe menus.
-
Peak cherry blossom season in late March to early April offers breathtaking aerial views of Osaka's pink canopies from the 59th-floor deck.
Important Guidelines & Safety
Essential safety information and guidelines
-
Ensure you have no underlying heart conditions, severe vertigo, or pregnancy, as the intense visual and physical sensations of the VR drop can be overwhelming.
-
Listen carefully to the staff's harness fitting instructions and never attempt to unclip or adjust the professional safety devices yourself while on the platform.
-
If you feel excessively dizzy or nauseous from the VR headset at any point, close your eyes and immediately signal the staff for assistance.
Visitor Information
Entry Fee
Ticket pricing is structured per person for the 4-time VR experience group package, with no specific child or senior discounts due to the strict age and physical requirements. Combo tickets that include general admission to the Harukas 300 observation deck are highly recommended for the best overall value.
Visit Duration
Allocate about 30 to 45 minutes for the VR check-in, safety briefing, and the actual bungee experience. If you are short on time, prioritize the VR jump first, then spend any remaining minutes snapping quick photos of the panoramic Osaka views from the main observation deck.
Accessibility
The Abeno Harukas 300 observation deck and the 59th-floor VR counter are fully wheelchair accessible via high-speed elevators. However, the physical harness requirements and edge-of-building positioning mean the VR bungee experience itself is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Harukas Bungee VR
This vertical experience field, about 300 meters above the ground, cleverly combines physical space with virtual reality technology to provide a multi-level immersive experience for urban explorers who are pursuing sensory breakthroughs.
The facility uses a dynamic adaptation system. After the experiencer wears the lightweight VR device, it will be fixed to the edge of the transparent viewing platform by a professional safety device. At the moment of startup, the real scene in front of you will generate a virtual scene in real time according to the device parameters - it may switch to a canyon surrounded by volcanic lava, or a neon matrix of a future city. When the body leans forward to trigger the falling mechanism, the physical sense of weightlessness and the visual scene are precisely synchronized, forming a three-dimensional experience of multi-sensory coordination.
The core experience is divided into three stages: the first 30 seconds is the VR scene adaptation period, and the system adjusts the dynamic details of the virtual environment according to the real-time wind speed; then enters the free fall stage of about 5 seconds, and the safety rope adopts a progressive buffer design; the final recovery process is accompanied by a gradual change of the scene, gradually transitioning back to the physical viewing platform. The supporting image recording system can generate an experience report containing biological data (heart rate, reaction speed), providing participants with a unique digital memorial. The project specially sets up a special dusk time period. When the virtual scene is superimposed with the real scene of the sunset in Osaka Bay, the special rendering effect of the light and shadow algorithm can be observed.
There is a decompression interactive area near the viewing floor, which provides a VR scene preview device based on somatosensory feedback. This project provides a new example of technology integration for urban high-altitude entertainment and redefines the possibility of urban sightseeing.
Listen carefully to the staff's harness fitting instructions and never attempt to unclip or adjust the professional safety devices yourself while on the platform.
If you feel excessively dizzy or nauseous from the VR headset at any point, close your eyes and immediately signal the staff for assistance.
Capture stunning wide-angle shots of the Osaka skyline from the 59th-floor indoor observation areas before or after your harness session.
For the best lighting, shoot during the golden hour just before sunset when the city below is bathed in warm, dramatic light.
