Perfect Timing

When to visit for the best experience

Since this is an indoor, air-conditioned workshop, it is an excellent activity year-round, offering a cool retreat from Singapore's tropical heat and sudden afternoon rain showers. Booking a morning or early afternoon slot is highly recommended for a more relaxed, less crowded environment, allowing you to fully focus on your scent creation.

Photography Guide

Capture the perfect shots

• Capture close-up macro shots of the raw ingredients, essential oil bottles, and wax textures beautifully arranged at your workstation before the mixing begins.

• The studio lighting is generally optimized for crafting, but positioning your candle near the main light sources will help highlight the unique colors and textures you have chosen.

• Ask your instructor for permission before using flash photography, as it can be distracting to other participants in the intimate workshop setting.

Cultural Etiquette

Respect local customs and traditions

Singaporeans value punctuality and respect for shared spaces, so please arrive on time and be mindful of other participants during the quiet scent-testing phases of the workshop. Tipping is not expected or required in Singapore, as service charges are usually included, but a warm thank you to your candlemaker is always appreciated.

Special Events & Experiences

Enhanced experiences and seasonal highlights

• During the festive Christmas and New Year season, the studio often introduces limited-edition holiday scent profiles like spiced citrus and winter pine for a festive crafting experience.

• Couples can book special Valentine's Day or anniversary sessions that feature romantic floral blends and the option to create matching his-and-hers candles.

• The workshop is highly popular during the June and December school holiday peaks, making it a fantastic family bonding activity, though advance booking is essential during these times.

Important Guidelines & Safety

Essential safety information and guidelines

• Exercise caution when handling the hot melted wax and pouring equipment, and always follow the instructor's guidance to avoid accidental burns.

• Inform your candlemaker of any allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to strong fragrances before the session begins so they can recommend suitable essential oils.

• Keep your hands away from your face and eyes while handling concentrated essential oils, and wash your hands thoroughly after the workshop.
