Redemption method
Method 1: "HK sightseeing" app
1. Please download the "HK Sightseeing" app from the App Store or Google Play Store first.
2. On the "My tickets" page in the "HK Sightseeing" app, scan the redemption QR code from your confirmation email using your phone camera (or manually enter the 20-character redemption code below the QR code on this page).
The app will redeem and store the combo ticket you purchased.
Method 2: WeChat mini program "Citybus mall"
1. Please search for "Citybus mall" on WeChat to enter the mini program
2. Through the "Ride" page in "Citybus Shop", scan the redemption QR code on the confirmation email with your mobile camera (or manually enter the 20-character redemption code below the QR code on this page).
The mini program will redeem and store the combo tickets you purchased.
Please note: Only one redemption method can be selected for each ticket. The selection cannot be changed after redemption.
How to use:
Before boarding, please open the "My tickets" section in the app or the "Ride" page in the WeChat mini program, select the corresponding ticket to prepare the dynamic boarding QR code. Ensure your phone has internet access to display the QR code when boarding.
When boarding, please present and verify your boarding QR code to the scanner on the blue electronic payment device on the bus.
1. Ticket holders can enjoy priority boarding when taking the H2K route at the central (Star Ferry pier) terminal. Please notify the station staff at the service counter before queuing for arrangements.
2. Passengers wishing to board first at the central sightseeing city bus terminal must ensure they hold an activated and valid ticket when boarding. Otherwise, city bus reserves the right to deny boarding.
3. The ticket is only valid for the same ticket holder and cannot be shared, transferred, or resold to others. If citybus discovers any ticket sharing, it reserves the right to take action against the ticket holder.
4. Passengers must use the dynamic ride code when boarding. Screenshots are not accepted.
5. Please ensure the device used for the ticket QR code has internet access and can connect to the network to verify the boarding QR code. If the device fails to connect to the internet or has poor wireless signal reception, resulting in the inability to display or verify the boarding QR code, passengers will need to pay the fare using another payment method and will not be eligible for a refund under these circumstances.
6. Tickets cannot be redeemed for cash, and no ticket refund or booking changes are allowed.
7. If the electronic device containing the valid ticket is lost or the passenger deletes the "HK Sightseeing" app with the redeemed ticket, the ticket will not be reissued or refunded.
8. Lost or damaged tickets will not be reissued.
9. If the open-top sightseeing bus is unable to operate due to mechanical failure, adverse weather conditions, or other reasons, Citybus reserves the right to arrange other non-open-top buses to continue the itinerary. Citybus also reserves the right to modify service hours, departure time slots, routes, or bus stop locations at any time due to transportation, weather, or other factors without prior notice. Citybus shall not be liable for any compensation or assume any responsibility for losses incurred by passengers due to the aforementioned reasons or other circumstances.
10. Citybus shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury caused by the purchase or use of this ticket (including but not limited to direct or indirect).
The public transportation fare subsidy scheme is not applicable to this ticket.
12. All inter-company bus transfer deals are not applicable to this ticket.
13. Citybus reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
14. If any abuse, misuse or fraudulent activity related to the ticket is discovered, citybus reserves the right to immediately cancel any ticket without refund, redeem ticket or compensation, and take legal action against the ticket holder. In case of dispute, citybus shall have the final decision.
