What to expect

Visit the Palace of Versailles on your own and get a glimpse into the history of French royalty. With transportation and admission already arranged, you can skip the hassle and focus on exploring.

Walk through the state apartments, where the royal family lived from 1682 to 1789, and discover stories of palace life, politics, and revolution. An included audio-guided app helps bring the history to life.

Enjoy the famous gardens at your own pace, with their fountains, sculptures, and carefully maintained paths. For a more in-depth experience, consider the full-day option, which includes a visit to Marie Antoinette’s estate and her rustic hamlet.

The audioguide is a phone app; child pricing is lower as kids may not have phones. If you can’t or prefer not to use your phone, you can buy an audioguide at Versailles. For safety reasons, children under 6 are not allowed—please do not bring them on the day of the tour.
There is an 8-minute walk from the meeting point to the bus. If the bus is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.
Please check in at the time stated on your voucher; late arrivals may miss Palace entry and rescheduling fees will apply.
The Palace gardens are free from November to March (closing at 17:30); no tickets are needed and prices are adjusted. Note: there are no musical or fountain shows in this period.
There are no restrooms on the bus.
Unfortunately, the bus is not fully accessible for wheelchair users.
