About Lihpao Racing Park
Weekday mornings offer the best experience with fewer crowds and optimal track conditions. Avoid peak holiday periods when booking can fill up weeks in advance.
Plan approximately 2-3 hours for the complete experience including safety training and track time. The actual racing session typically lasts 30-45 minutes.
Lihpao Racing Park is located within the Lihpao Resort complex in Houli District, Taichung, and operates as a dedicated outdoor go-karting facility. Visitors are required to wear closed-toe shoes and must meet specific height and age requirements to drive the karts independently. It is advisable to check the daily operating schedule in advance, as track sessions are routinely paused during inclement weather or scheduled maintenance.
The Lihpao International Raceway building adopts green construction methods, combining sports and leisure with environmental protection concepts. There are three tracks in total: Lihpao Full Track, Off-Road Track, and Karting Track. The Lihpao Full Track is 3.5 kilometers long with 23 turns. It is designed similar to the Monaco F1-level street track. In addition to being a high-standard international standard track in Taiwan, it is also the only track in Taiwan with a height difference of 5 stories. The track is divided into three zones named "Wind, Fire, and Thunder" according to its characteristics, symbolizing the characteristics of racing sports "fast as wind, aggressive as fire, and moving like thunder", as well as the concentration of the racers.
The facility accommodates most visitors, though participants must meet basic physical requirements for safe karting. Advance notice may be needed for special accommodations.
