— Introduction to Chaori Hot Springs —
Green Island Zhaori Hot Springs - World-class Underwater Hot Springs
The intertidal zone of the Sailing Nose Reef in the southeast of Green Island faces the sunrise over the boundless Pacific Ocean, so it was known as the "Asahi Hot Springs" during the Japanese colonial period. In addition to taking a bath in the morning to watch the sunrise, you can also stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city at night and listen to the sound of waves hitting the rocks, admire the starry sky and the Milky Way, and experience delicious Food and Beverages cooked with underwater hot springs. Enjoy the tranquility of the Asahi Hot Springs.

Five open-air terraced hot spring pools are planned, with hot water and warm water pools. Mixed bathing is required, and swimmers must wear swimsuits and swimming caps to enter the pools. The pools can accommodate three to four hundred tourists. The indoor hot spring pools have SPA facilities, a wide sea view, a complete viewing trail, a sea-view pavilion, and convenient and friendly spaces such as washrooms, lockers and a sales department.

The formation of underwater hot springs
The hot spring water is transparent, with a temperature of about 53 degrees. The water at the spout can reach 90 degrees, with a salty taste like seawater. It is a sulfate chloride spring. The source of the spring water is the seawater or groundwater from the nearby sea area that seeps into the ground. After being heated by the volcanic magma reservoir, it emerges from the intertidal zone due to pressure. It is a hot spring in the igneous rock area. There is an experience area in the area where you can enjoy freshly cooked dishes with 95-degree sea spring water.
