When to visit for the best experience

Visit during the Australian spring and summer months (September to February) for the best weather and most active animal behaviour. Weekday mornings are the quietest, while weekends and school holidays draw larger crowds. The late afternoon into early evening is ideal for spotting nocturnal species as they emerge.
