Fly into Tashkent, train to Samarkand (2 nights), high-speed train to Bukhara (3 nights with a day trip to the Nurata desert yurt camp), then train onward to Khiva (2 nights), and fly back to Tashkent from Urgench. Buy a SIM at the airport and the e-visa online in advance for most passports.
