Late September to mid-October is ideal—harvest season means you can stomp grapes at family wineries and taste fresh qvevri wines. Weather is crisp but sunny (15-20°C), and the fall colors over the Alazani Valley are stunning. Summer gets hot (30°C+) and more crowded; spring (May) has wildflowers but unpredictable rain.
