First time in Japan, 14 days. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka too ambitious? Want some nature too.

That trio is totally doable in 2 weeks and makes a classic first loop via shinkansen. Carve out 3-4 days for Hakone or the Japanese Alps (Kamikochi is brilliant) so you're not only in cities.
