Have 10 days in Taiwan. How much can I fit in without feeling rushed?

Ten days is perfect for Taipei, Taroko Gorge, and one southern stop like Tainan or Kaohsiung. Add Alishan if you love mountain scenery and sunrises, but don't try to circle the whole island.
