Grab a local SIM from Vietnamobile or Viettel at the airport — you'll get plenty of data for around $5-8 USD. Keep your phone unlocked beforehand or rent a WiFi pocket from your airline or a local provider. Most cafes and hotels have free WiFi, but a local SIM ensures you're always navigable.
