Is Canggu still worth it in 2024 or has it become too crowded and overpriced?

Canggu is busier and pricier than five years ago, with traffic jams on the main roads, but the surf, cafe scene and coworking hubs are still top-tier. If you want quieter, consider Sidemen or Amed on the east coast. For a first Bali trip, Canggu is still a great base for 4–5 nights.
