Is it worth paying for a 7-day JR Pass in late November for Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka loop?

At current prices, a standard 7-day pass costs around ¥50,000 and easily pays for itself with just the Tokyo-Kyoto round trip. November is peak autumn foliage season, so book trains and accommodations months ahead. The pass also covers local JR lines in each city, which saves money on daily transit.
