Is Petra worth the early morning entry at 6am vs arriving later?

I've been looking into this for a while and can't find a definitive answer.

Absolutely—arrive at opening to beat both the crowds and the heat. The Siq is dramatically lit in early morning sunlight, and you'll have the Great Temple area nearly to yourself. Entry costs about JD50 and is valid for two days, so consider staying in Wadi Musa the first night.
