Is Petra worth the entry fee? We're on a tighter budget—any alternatives?
First time planning a trip to Jordan so still figuring things out.

Petra is absolutely worth it—seeing the Treasury carved into rose-red cliffs is unforgettable. The 3-day pass (about $80) is the best value. If budget is tight, consider skipping Wadi Rum camps and doing the desert day trip from Aqaba instead. Food in Amman is incredibly affordable compared to tourist trap prices elsewhere.
