Is the Algarve too touristy in July? Where should I go instead?

The Algarve is packed in July but still worth it if you avoid Albufeira's party scene. Try Vila do Bispo or Sagres for quieter beaches with dramatic cliffs. The nearby Alentejo coast is equally beautiful and nearly empty — think pristine dunes and zero crowds.
