Is the Masai Mara worth visiting in July for the wildebeest migration?

July is peak migration season and absolutely worth it, but book 6-12 months ahead as lodges sell out. The Great River Crossing typically happens July-September and is breathtaking. Consider staying slightly outside the park in private conservancies for a less crowded, more intimate safari experience at comparable prices.
