The Andaman Sea coast (Phuket, Krabi) is best from November to April when seas are calm and weather is dry. The Gulf coast (Samui, Phangan) has its dry season from June to August, making it perfect for summer travel. Avoid the monsoon months for each region if you want reliable beach conditions.
