What Makes it Special
-
Authentic access to Ndalem Mangkubumen and Kedhaton areas rarely open to the public, offering genuine insider perspectives.

-
Small group format ensures personalized attention from Abdi Dalem guides who share personal knowledge and stories.
Available Facilities
Perfect Timing
When to visit for the best experience
Morning sessions from 8 AM to 1 PM offer cooler temperatures and authentic atmosphere as the Kraton comes alive. The dry season (April to October) provides the most comfortable conditions for walking through outdoor areas.

-
Capture details of the batik patterns and traditional attire during workshop segments for striking cultural images.
-
Natural light in the morning hours creates beautiful atmosphere shots in the Kraton's historic courtyards.
Cultural Etiquette
Respect local customs and traditions
Show respect by following your guide's instructions on posture, greeting, and movement within sacred spaces. Remove shoes when entering buildings as a sign of reverence - the barefoot experience is intentional and meaningful.
