How much does a Bali trip cost from India? For most couples it comes to somewhere between ₹1.2 lakh and ₹2.2 lakh for five to seven days, but the real number depends on three things you control: which city you fly from, which month you travel, and how comfortably you stay.

How this calculator works
Flights use sourced return-fare ranges per departure city (published by fare-comparison sites such as momondo, Skyscanner and KAYAK), picked by season: February, March and October are usually the cheapest months; July, August and December are peak. Delhi and Bangalore have nonstop IndiGo flights; Mumbai and Kolkata connect via one stop.
Visa is the official Indonesian e-VOA fee of IDR 500,000 per person, from HolidaySG's visa data verified against the Directorate General of Immigration (evisa.imigrasi.go.id). Indian nationals cannot enter Bali visa-free.
Tourist levy is Bali's IDR 150,000 per person, per entry.
Hotel is a price per room per night for your travel style, with two adults sharing a room. Food and transport are per person per day; children under 12 are counted at half on the ground but pay full flights, visa and levy.

Bali from India: good to know
- Visa: apply for the e-VOA online at least 48 hours before you fly (IDR 500,000, 30-day stay, extendable once). Your passport must be valid for 6 months. Indonesia visa requirements.
- Cheapest time to fly: February, March and October. Fares from Kolkata nearly double in July–August.
- Nonstop flights: IndiGo flies nonstop from Delhi and Bangalore to Bali (Denpasar, DPS).
- Money: Bali uses the Indonesian rupiah (IDR). Cards work in hotels and larger restaurants; carry cash for warungs and markets.

What is the Bali trip cost per person from India?
Per person, a 5-day mid-range trip usually lands between ₹70,000 and ₹1,00,000, of which the return flight is about half. Travelling as a couple lowers the per-person cost because you share a hotel room.
Is Bali visa-free for Indians?
No. Indian passport holders need an Indonesian Visa on Arrival, best bought online as an e-VOA before you fly. It costs IDR 500,000 per person, allows a 30-day stay and can be extended once for another 30 days. HolidaySG can handle the application for you.
Which is the cheapest month to fly to Bali from India?
