This full-day excursion lasts approximately 10 to 12 hours from Tokyo pickup to drop-off. If you are short on time at any stop, prioritize the Mt. Omuro crater rim walk and the main fireworks finale, as these are the absolute highlights of the itinerary.
The Atami Sea Fireworks Festival has a history of more than 60 years. 5,000 fireworks are launched continuously on the Atami Bay. Due to the terrain surrounded by mountains on three sides, the sound effect is like being in a stadium. The strong pressure makes you hold your breath unconsciously. The large number of infectious fireworks blooming in the night sky and the fireworks reflected on the water surface are launched one after another. The gorgeous beauty even makes people forget to blink!
While the Atami Ginza Shopping Street is mostly flat and accessible, the Mt. Omuro chairlift and crater rim paths may pose challenges for wheelchair users or those with severe mobility issues. Please consult with your guide upon pickup to arrange suitable alternative viewing areas if necessary.
Hold onto your hats and secure loose items while riding the Mt. Omuro chairlift, as coastal breezes can be surprisingly strong at higher elevations.
