What to expect
Hop aboard a crystal-clear cable car at Awana Station and enjoy a scenic 10-minute gondola ride up to Genting Highlands. As you glide through the sky, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, lush rainforest, and tall pagodas emerging from the greenery along the way.
You can also stop at Chin Swee Station to visit the famous Chin Swee Caves Temple, a Taoist temple located in the Genting Highlands. Capture photos of iconic landmarks such as the 9-storey grand pagoda, the Sky Terrace, and the impressive 15-meter-tall Buddha statue. Upon arrival at Genting Highlands, explore a wide range of attractions, luxury hotels, shopping outlets, and exciting theme parks.

Terms & conditions
Admission
- Confirmation email is non-transferable, not for resale or exchange, and non-refundable under any circumstances.
- No request to change the validity date of the confirmation email will be entertained.
Eligibility
- Free Ride: Child with height below 90 cm.
- Guests aged 16 years old and below must be accompanied by a supervising companion with valid tickets, passes, or wristbands at all times.
Attraction Access
- Scan the QR code from the confirmation email at the turnstile for direct boarding without exchanging for a physical ticket.
- Guests must retain confirmation email for inspection. Management reserves the right to deny redemption if a valid confirmation email is not presented.
- If stopping at Chin Swee Station, guests must keep their ticket or QR code to continue the journey to the top or exit via SkyAvenue Station.
- Each passenger can bring one cabin-size bag into the gondola. Oversized baggage will incur a surcharge (RM22 one-way / RM38 return).
- Standard Gondola Capacity: 10 passengers (including children).
- Glass Floor Gondola Capacity: 6 passengers.
- Wheelchair and stroller access is available for Standard Gondola. Only baby strollers are allowed in Glass Floor Gondolas.
- If the Genting Highlands Premium Outlet Cable Car is closed for maintenance, service will be available at Gohtong Jaya Cable Car, approximately 15 minutes away by car.
Additional Information
- This is a non-smoking attraction. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited.
- Pets are not allowed in stations or inside gondolas.
- Guests must dress in appropriate attire during the ride.
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Management is not liable for loss or damage.
- Photography and recording for personal use are allowed if it does not disturb others. Commercial photography or videography requires written approval from management.
- Management may take photos, audio, or video recordings in non-restricted areas for reasonable purposes without compensation.
- Guests may contact team members onsite for assistance, feedback, or suggestions.
Important Notes
- In case of discrepancies between English and other language versions, the English version shall prevail.
- No delay or failure in exercising rights shall be considered a waiver of such rights.
- Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to Malaysian courts.
- Management reserves the right to review, revise, or update Terms & Conditions at any time.
- These Terms & Conditions and the Rules & Regulations (including all subsequent amendments and updates to either or both of them) will be published at Resorts World Genting official website at https://www.rwgenting.com/gettinghere/awanaskyway/
The Management reserves the right to:
- a. Require additional information or proof of identity from you for the purpose of redeeming the Tickets; and
- b. Deny your confirmation email redemption if you breach these Terms & Conditions or if, in our reasonable opinion, the transaction is fraudulent.
How to Get There
- By bus: From KL Sentral, you can take the Genting Express Bus located at the Lower Ground Floor, which operates daily and travels directly to Awana Bus Terminal. From the terminal, head to Level 4 to board the cable car at Awana Station.
- By car:From KLCC, it takes approximately 48 minutes’ drive to reach Awana Bus Terminal. From there, proceed to Level 4 of the building to board the cable car at the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car Station.
