What to expect

Head out on one of the most scenic skydiving experiences in the South Island. Skydive Wanaka is a must do experience while visiting or living in the Queenstown or Wanaka region. On the day of your skydive, Skydive Wanaka will prep you and your friends with the safety and procedures of skydiving, before getting paired up with one of the esteemed skydiving instructors. As you board the skydiving plane, prepare yourself for a 10-15 minute scenic journey and take in the beautiful landscapes of Mount Cook, the Upper Clutha River, and the surrounding lakes. As the scenic leg of the journey comes to an end, get ready for an intense rush of adrenaline as you jump out of the plane, and fly through the air at 200kph! With a camera flyer documenting every moment of your skydive, you can be sure to have a collection of crazy images to share with your friends and family (available for purchase when you check in for your skydive). Choose between a 9,000, 12,000 or 15,000ft tandem skydive experience with a freefall of up to 25, 45 or 60 seconds.
