Aqua Planet Yeosu is located within the Yeosu Expo Ocean Park and features a direct entry system using a 16-digit QR code. The facility operates daily from 09:30 to 19:00, with the final admission permitted until 18:00. Visitors can proceed directly to the entrance for scanning without needing to visit the physical ticket office.
Hanwha Group set up a large-scale aquarium ""Aquaplanet" in Korea at the 2012 Yeosu World Expo. "Aquaplanet" Yeosu Aquarium has a height equivalent to 4 floors, a total area of 16,400 square meters, and a 6,000t-class aquarium. It is the largest aquarium in Korea. The size of the aquarium is six times that of the existing Seoul 63 Underwater World (1000t), and two to three times that of Seoul COEX Aquarium (2300t) and Busan Aquarium (3500t).
